There are several steps of a beautiful lawn:
First is to apply a pre-emergent herbicide for control of crabgrass and other grassy weeds in early spring followed by a second pre-emergent herbicide to extend grassy weed control through out the summer and a liquid fertilization to encourage spring green-up; third apply a fertilizer and, if needed, a spot spray for weed control; fourth, again apply fertilizer and, if needed, spot spray for weed control; fifth, apply fertilizer and, if needed, a spot spray for weed control will be applied for summer weeds; sixth, a pre-emergent herbicide for control of winter weed control and liquid fertilizer, and for the seventh application, lime on all turf areas.
In addition to weed control and fertilization programs, we offer insect control and fungus control for lawns and shrubs. This service is priced separate from weed control and fertilization programs. Herbicides are used to control and prevent weed infestation; however, herbicides alone are not substitutes for good lawn care maintenance. Proper fertilization, mowing at the correct height and watering are very important in helping to maintain a healthy lawn.
